A big congratulations to the Fundraising Committee for organising and running the successful Fashion Blitz and Coffee Morning last Saturday.

Just in case you don’t know, the Fundraising Committee is made up of the following hardworking parents – Carmel Dillon, Michelle Caulfield, Assumpta Loughran, Marion Furey and Jean Kearney. This team were very busy the weeks leading up to the event and put in a lot of hours last week, so well done. Acknowledgement must also be given to the parents and swimmers who baked the lovely goodies for the coffee morning and helped out on the day. Thanks also to Kieran McGrath for his generosity in giving the Club the use of the Canteen area. I think it is also important to mention and thank those who donated supplies and raffle prizes – Joyces Supermarket Athenry, Nestors Supervalu Oranmore, McIenerys Sports Shop, John Fox, Quinns Pharmacy Gort, Terryland Fruit & Veg, Centra-Clarinbridge and Swimkit. Thanks also to Mel Durkan for the fabulous poster design.
