Well done to the 14 swimmers representing  Bluefin SC over two weekends at the Athlone-Claremorris L3 Meet on the 10th and 18th March 2018.

Athlone (10th and 11th March 2018):
On Saturday 10th March, Sorcha, Caoilin and Robin swam the 800m free, with Robin winning gold and setting a new Bluefin club record. Luke swam the 1500m Free.

On the Sunday 11th March, Sandra, Hannah, Isolde, Caoilin, Sorcha, Sara, Luke, Cian, Rian, Patrick, Robin, Jake and Kieran competed in 15 further events, winning another 7 medals between them!

Luke: Silver in 400m IM, Robin: Gold in 200m Back, Bronze in 100m Flyand 100m Free, Kieran: Silver in 200m Back and Bronze in 50m Back, Caoilin: Bronze in 100m Free.

Claremorris (18th March 2018):
Congratulations to all those who swam in the recent gala in Claremorris. Bluefin was represented by Kieran, Isolde, Sarah, Rian, Jake, Sara, Sandra, Cian, Patrick, Caoilin and Sorcha.

Out of a total of 29 swims there was an amazing 23 PBs – mega achievement. Bluefin also brought home a bit of bling!! Kieran: Silver in 100 back, Caoilin: Silver in 200 free and Bronze in 100 back.

Rian received his first Division 2 time in 100 breast. Good man Rian!! Well done to all who took part!
