Visualisation for Athletes with Pádraic Ó Máille
for Competitive and Performance Squads
Thursday 7th March 2019 from 6:30 to 7:30 pm
at the SCCUL Sanctuary, Kilcornan (Bungalow 9)
Many elite athletes around the world routinely use visualisation techniques as part of training and competition. Athletes have used these techniques to cultivate not only a competitive edge but also to create renewed mental awareness, a heightened sense of well-being and confidence. All of these factors have been shown to contribute to an athlete’s sports success. Guided imagery, visualisation, mental rehearsal or other such techniques can maximise the efficiency and effectiveness of your training – and Pádraic is going to help teach us how to go through this process!
Pádraic Ó Máille, one of Ireland’s most prominent speakers on personal development, is very generously donating his time to give our athletes a special seminar on visualisation to ‘see the swim’.
Pádraic trained as a coach and group facilitator in the US and UK. His ability to get people and groups clear on current reality, their desired futures and the actions they need to take has led him to work with some of Ireland’s most influential business leaders, government ministers, companies, political parties, charitable organisations and sports teams including Galway Hurling and Connacht Rugby.
The seminar will be held at the SCCUL Sanctuary which provides a venue for people in the local community to improve their wellbeing, gain new perspectives and have a respite from the daily challenges they face. SCCUL Sanctuary have very generously donated their facility for this special opportunity for Bluefin SC.
So, put it on your calendars and don’t miss this special session!
