Bluefin Swimming Club are holding try-outs for new swimmers who want to join the best team!

Taking place in Kilcornan Pool on Wednesday 11th March 2019, our try-outs start at 5pm and at 5:30pm – and take just 20 mins.

Places are limited, so please book in advance through our Club Secretary at bluefin.secretary@gmail.com

To ensure the smooth running of the swim, please have your swimmer on deck, ready to start at their allotted time.

Before committing to a try-out with Bluefin SC, swimmers must be aged 9 or above, and have the following requirements:
• ASA Level 8 certificate, or equivalent.
• Be able to swim 100m Freestyle, 50m Breaststroke and 100m Backstroke, non-stop, all technically correct.
• Be happy to attempt a dive and try one length of Butterfly.

If currently attending swimming lessons, parents should discuss their child’s readiness to graduate to competitive swimming with their swim school/teacher.
