On 28th September, Bluefin SC received the esteemed Clubmark at the Swim Ireland Awards 2019 in Maynooth, and is now recognised by Swim ireland for offering the highest of club standards.

The accreditation programme focuses on attaining and keeping pace with best practice and leading ideas in monitoring membership, club governance and administration, activities, club development /planning and communication, social and marketing.

While raising our club’s profile, the Clubmark will help increase the number of qualified coaches, improve our retention policy and ensure the provision of a safe and secure environment which incorporates all aspects of the Swim Ireland child welfare programme.

The Clubmark application process was taken on by Maurice Boyle, Christine Watterson and Karen Roland, along with the help of last year’s committee and Head Coach Helen Gunning. Congratulations!
