The purpose of the Level 1 Officials course is an introduction to officiating and understanding of the Swim Ireland Officials structure. It provides for an understanding of the roles and responsibilities of Timekeepers, the associated operating procedures and covers FINA Rule SW 2.9 along with other duties for working at swimming competitions.

Qualifies you to fulfil the role of Timekeeper at all levels up to and including National Championships.
