RESULTS: Tuam SC Development Meet

“Double double toil and trouble;
Fire burn and cauldron bubble”

The only bubbles felt this weekend were at the pool where the Tuam SC Regional Development Meet took place on Saturday 28th October 2017.

The onset of Halloween didn’t scare our 20 ghoulishly delightful Bluefin athletes who swam in 53 spine tingling events.

Our party of trick-or-treaters achieved a spooktakular 40 PB’s and came away with a devilish total of 17 medals (seven gold, six silver and four bronze)!

Our big double was no “toil and trouble” for our hair-raising athlete Patrick, who achieved two A times – one for butterfly and the other for IM!!! A wonderful achievement, the club is so very proud.

Not content with Patrick’s two A times, Isolde added to our chilling accomplishments by achieving her A time for breaststroke.

Well done Patrick and Isolde on your first A times. A hat trick on the night for Bluefin Swimming Club!!!

Many thanks to Tuam Swimming Club for organising a great gala. Thanks to all the parents, relatives and friends who came to support and cheer for our athletes, and to those who volunteered for time-keeping duties. As always, special thanks reserved for our wonderful coaches Helen and Kieran.

Happy Halloween,
Team manager, Ger
