QUARANTEAM RESULTS

The results are in… the team raised a massive €2,391 while travelling 7,856km over the six weeks of our Big Bluefin fundraiser.

Thank you to everyone who contributed to our Big Bluefin Quaranteam Challenge! We are extremely grateful to the athletes who logged kilometres and donated funds for our team, and for Kilcornan’s Sri Lanka Fund. Team Captains, Sorcha and Robin, presented a cheque for €1000 to Brother Alfred of the Brother’s of Charity Sri Lanka Fund. Our donation will be spent on much needed equipment for 60 children who attend the charity’s two Montessori schools in Sri Lanka.

Congratulations to the winning team, the Bluefin Cyclones! Led by coach Celine, the team clocked the most mileage. Bravo to our furthest travelled athlete, Kieran, who logged an impressive 994km for the Bluefin Cyclones.

Huge thanks to Kieran for suggesting this great team challenge and super fundraiser for the club!
