Future Challengers Series

Bluefin Swimming Club were delighted to host the 3rd Meet of the Future Challengers Series on Saturday evening. A massive thank-you to Race Referee Kevin Dowling ensuring all ran smoothly and for pre-event assistance. To Connacht Swimming for officiating the gala and all the volunteers, parents, coaches, team managers, supporting clubs that ensured the events success. 🙏 Hugh thanks to Kingfisher University of Galway for the use of their complex and facilitating all of our requests!

A shout out to all the Bluefin family that assisted with the gala and a big-thank-you to all that baked for the tuck shop and to those that donated to the raffle and bought tickets. To our senior squads that helped out and also particularly to Irish Senior 200m Backstroke record holder, John Shortt for attending the event, just back on Irish soil returning from the World Championships in Doha. 😁

And finally, to the most important people – all the swimmers that raced, many for their first time! Their smiles, laughter and team comradery ensured a fantastic event for everybody.
To Coach Celine and the 16 junior Bluefin swimmers that competed, a massive well done and to those that received Championship B Bands – Isabella S, Karolina, Connie and Ciara and to Karolina and Blanka for getting Olympic A bands.👏💙👏
