Another tough training day for Bluefin Senior Squad at UL last Sunday 26th November.
The squad worked hard in the water from 10 in the morning, took in a super dryland hour with Stephen Phelan and then hit the water for a big pull set in the afternoon. We finished with a fast-growing Bluefin favourite… Rock, Paper, Scissors Relay… and we couldn’t get them out!
Big thanks to Maeve for organising, Jean for PIA (all day!) and to the squad for really putting in some effort!
Congratulations to our 14 swimmers who represented Bluefin Swimming Club at the recent Connacht Short Course Championships.
Out of 59 swims there were an amazing 43 PBs. That is a fabulous result!
Robin achieved three National qualifying times and brought home some racing bling with a gold in 200 free and silver in 400 medley . With his National times, he will be going to Lisburn in December to represent Bluefin SC. What an achievement. Well done Robin.
We are so proud of all our swimmers!
Thanks to all the parents who provided food on Saturday and participated in jobs over the two days.
